Located on the Oaks Ranch, Davis Equestrian is owned by Carol and Burton Davis. Carol Davis has been a powerful force in the horse industry for over 43 years, and a name synonymous with quality horsemanship and teamwork between rider and horse.  Originally from California, where she worked with Klein Arabians, Carol is now located in sunny Green Cove Springs, Florida to better serve riders in the southeast region. Experience and successes at local, A level, and regional shows has provided her with the skills needed to take you and your horse wherever you would like to be.  As a multi-discipline trainer, Carol has applied these principles in the fields of hunter pleasure, hunter equitation, hunter jumper, western pleasure, western equitation, dressage, and saddle seat.        

 

       Throughout her career, Carol’s passion for the Arabian horse has shown through, and barn visitors are greeted with many a dished face. But Carol is about more than just the Arab circuit, and from the backyard to the big ring, she is renowned for her horse centered technique.

 

       Working as a team, Carol and her husband Burton manage the facility, regulating feed and turn out for the optimal equine environment.  Through their efforts, Davis Equestrian is maintained as an open door equestrian center, where borders have access to their horses at whatever time is convenient to them. In the spirit of teamwork, Carol has also worked with Richard Shrake and Rick Gervasio to give her horses the best opportunities available.
